BeTwin VS 是什麼？

BeTwin VS 是一套基於 Windows 7/Vista 系統環境下的軟體，它可讓多個使用者同時且獨立地共用一台 Windows 7/Vista 電腦的軟硬體及外部資源。 BeTwin VS 在一台電腦中可建立最多達四個的電腦虛擬終端，使用者只需加入顯示器、顯示卡、鍵盤、滑鼠和喇叭（選項），就可以獲得和主機完全相同的 Windows 7/Vista 環境。

BeTwin價值性

•資源共享：優越的系統性能電腦在處理日常事務時，其實對資源的佔用非常有限，BeTwin對硬體的要求與一般電腦配置相當，卻可以做到系統資源動態分配，所以性能非常優越。

•降低升級費用：系統的投資風險大幅度減少 由於電腦CPU升級汰換太快，辦公應用平均每2～3年就要進行一次升級，每次升級都要更換掉近80%的硬體設備，而本系統則只需更換其中20%的硬體設備！

•強化管理：維護大幅度減少，只需要維護一台主機，大大提高了系統設備的利用率。

•大幅降低投資成本：與一般方案相比，軟、硬體投資成本可減少25～52%！

系統需求：

1. 主機 PC 的系統建議需求

•  Pentium IV 2.8GHz 或更快的 CPU  (建議使用雙核心 CPU)

•  Windows Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business 或 Ultimate Edition - 32bit) 電腦

•  於 Windows Vista (32-bit)，2 個使用者最少需要 1 GB 的 RAM

   於啟用 Aero 效果的 Windows Vista  ，2 個使用者最少需要 1.5 GB 的 RAM

•  每個額外使用者建議附加 256 MB 或更多的 RAM ，根據使用者執行的應用程式而定，一般來說愈多的記憶體效果愈好。

•  USB 連接埠

•  可用的 PCI 或 PCI-E 插槽

2. 顯示卡

以下的 PCI 與 PCI-Express 顯示卡建議使用在 BeTwin 工作站:

PCI 顯示卡:

•  ATi Rage XL

•  ATi Radeon - 所有型號

•  nVidia GeForce - 所有型號

•  nVidia Quadro

PCI-Express 顯示卡:

•  nVidia Quadro

•  ATi Radeon

備註: Please ensure that the PCI/PCI-Express VGA cards work correctly in Windows Vista Multi-Monitor mode before installing BeTwin VS (32-bit). Refer to FAQ Item 5 for more information regarding Windows Vista Multi-Monitor support.

Dual Head/ Dual View VGA Support:BeTwin VS will not work correctly if the Dual Head/ Dual View VGA is configured:

•  for the Host PC (using the primary VGA output of the Dual Head/ Dual View VGA) and BeTwin Station (using the secondary VGA output to the Dual Head/ Dual View VGA)

•  for one BeTwin Station (using the primary VGA output of the Dual Head/ Dual View VGA) and another BeTwin Station (using the secondary VGA output to the Dual Head/ Dual View VGA)

However, you can use a Dual Head/ Dual View VGA to configure for one BeTwin Station only (using either the primary or secondary VGA output of the Dual Head/ Dual View VGA and leaving the unused VGA output "disconnected"). In other words, you need to install a separate VGA card for each BeTwin Station.

Take note that this does not represent a complete list, as there may be others that are working with BeTwin VS which has not been reported or updated yet.

Windows Vista Multi-Monitor Support: Unless the VGA cards are working correctly in Windows Vista Multi-Monitor mode, BeTwin VS will not work. In other words, you have to get the VGA cards to work correctly in Windows Vista Multi-Monitor mode before installing BeTwin VS. Please refer to FAQ Item 5 for more information regarding Windows Vista Multi-Monitor support

3. BeTwin 工作站需要的額外硬體

•  PCI 顯示卡或 PCI-Express 顯示卡 (如上說明)

•  螢幕

•  USB 或 PS/2 滑鼠 (需要 USB-to-PS/2 轉換器)

•  USB 或 PS/2 鍵盤 (需要 USB-to-PS/2 轉換器)

•  USB 音效卡 (選項，若工作站需要聲音輸出時)
